Guide to CBD Dosages

hemp oil and cbd dosage

Appropriate CBD dosage is still not a common knowledge despite the fact that the medicine has become incredibly popular. With this step-by-step guide, you’ll learn all you need to know about your proper CBD dosage level.

Step 1: Decide on the Delivery Method
There are many ways to take CBD, from oil drops, vaping, or even in gummy forms. These different methods of CBD consumption have a varying degree of absorption rate and potency. For example, oral oil drops will give you a longer lasting impact, but it takes longer for the CBD to take effect. On the contrary, vaping will give you a quick relief from having anxiety. The effect is a lot more potent but doesn’t last very long. Think about your conditions and your intended usage of CBD, as it can help you choose the right delivery method.

Step 2: Learn Your Tolerance
The different delivery methods also have a varying degree of bioavailability, which is the degrees to which the CBD is absorbed into the bloodstream. The higher the bioavailability, the higher potency the CBD is going to have. It’s estimated that oil drops have around 20-30% bioavailability while vaping can go as high as 40%. Other methods like CBD gummies and capsules don’t usually have a high bioavailability value, ranging around 5 to10%. This means that one drop of CBD oil can be 4 to 5 times more potent than chewing a CBD gummy that weighs exactly the same. You also need to keep in mind that each person has a varying degree of tolerance for CBD, meaning that we all have our own proper dosage. This is why it’s so important to experiment with different dosages to find out the right amount for you.

Step 3: Formulate A Plan For Finding Your Optimal Dose
Having too much CBD can cause headaches, nausea, and other undesirable conditions. Underdosing, on the other hand, won’t make you feel any different. This is why you need to start off slow when experimenting with different dosages so that you don’t run the risk of serious side effects.

To help you find the optimal dosage, here are some tips you can use.

Follow the instructions of the product

Every CBD product comes with a label that includes the recommended dosage level as well as precise instructions on how to take it. This amount of dosage will already be lower than what you’re expected to take, but you can go lower if you’d prefer. If you have any questions about the product, you should give the manufacturer a call or leave them an inquiry. Each brand and formula has a different level of potency. By asking the company directly, you will minimize the confusion so that you can get the most optimal dosage.

Microdosing
Microdosing is one of the most effective ways to take CBD, as you can control both the daily intake and the dosage very accurately. This is mostly done by taking a drop of CBD oil every hour or until you start to feel the effects. This requires a lot of time and patience, so you’re going to need to keep a close eye on the clock.

  1. The product I bought has no instructions on dosage which leaves me s little irritated I have no idea where to start. I don’t know about the rest of the people but this product is a little bit pricey and not knowing how to how to use it I could waste a lot of it a just Trying to figure out how to use it. If you’re going to sell it I feel like you should at least have an average dosage . If you’re going to sell this product you need a little bit more information to help us figure out how to use it I have COPD is when I purchased it for.

    1. Hi Peggy – we don’t sell CBD. I recommend you find the company from whom you purchased your CBD and contact them directly. In this article, be sure to read the last section on micro-dosing CBD so that you don’t overdo it. Hope it works out for you!
